Killeen is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Killeen follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Have been in here multiple times with no problems but the service today was beyond awful. I take my mom here for appointments because she doesn’t have insurance and we were here for 2 hours. An hour and a half of that time was just sitting in the lobby. The doctor was so incompetent all he could tell her was stop eating carbs and vegetables. Like who tells someone to stop eating what’s healthy for you. Then we proceeded to sit in the lobby waiting to get her medication sitting there for 30 minutes. Not one person said we’ll be with you or were getting it together. Then when I finally ask if it’ll be ready soon because I have my own errands to run. I have children to pick up from school. the front desk lady cops and attitude and says it’s a whole process. Mind you I have been here multiple times with my mother. Have came here on my own to pick up her medication & it NEVER has taken that long. Extremely poor customer service. Just because it’s free service doesn’t meant it has to be shitty service.

Today was my first time at the community care. I’ve had insurance since a child so I’ve never been to a community care clinic. I will be honest and say I was a little hesitant about taking my mom there at first. Once she was approved I called a few times no answer then looked at the reviews and was doubtful but I waited and gave another chance. I got answer around 11am and the young lady was very nice and helpful. I came in after 1 and the door was locked but I called and they explained why. Once I came in all of the staff was very friendly and professional. I had the assumption that my mother wouldn’t have an appt til May but was given April. I work in the health care industry and I couldn’t imagine having to lock my office door for my safety and still provide great customer service with a smile. Thank you for all you do! Everyday won’t be great

My daughter has been seen at this clinic and CONSTANTLY has issues with them answering the phones. She has been out of her diabetic and cholesterol medications for at least 2-3 weeks. I have called with my phone this morning 8 -10 times and it always goes to a voicemail that is not set up yet. How is this a service to better our community and assist those in medical need that cannot or do not have insurance. As a nurse, I find this an issue. I realize there is a huge influx of patients that may go in and out. But simply answering the phone and returning phone calls is essential to providing a successful service. This is definitely a contributing factor to the increase in medical conditions and the crisis we have in our field.

All of the employees here appear to be so compassionate and empathetic. They truly seem to care and do the most for everybody that needs their assistance, which I have never seen at a medical facility before coming here. They are always radiating with positivity and willing to help, especially with their limited resources and staffing. Keep in mind that they may be difficult to contact at times; however, they have so many patients to attend to with very limited amount of time and staff, it is not because they don't want to help. What they do for the community is so amazing and I am forever grateful for their help, especially when I needed it. I highly recommend coming here.

Very good. I think they are actually considerate and you do have to pay a donation of $10-30 but if you can't for any reason, they do offer a first time waiver. Like if you forgot your wallet or something or like myself that I was not aware of the donation and didn't have cash or my purse on me actually. I had just brought my id in my pocket. They eventually want proof of income, but that's fair enough. I think for a 1-3 time fast in and out type of thing, that's less than a meal; It's pretty good. I definitely appreciate them and whoever is behind offering these facilities and service. God bless them more. Also, if you have something they can't figure out, they do recommend you to a Specialist, which you do have to finance and they also offer a charity program if you qualify which can cover the visit, haven't actually gone that far yet, but they explained it to me. They give you free temp medicine that might or might not work in the meantime, but it's better than having nothing. I say if you can't afford a Doctor, you should be appreciative of these type of clinics and not be complaining to the nine. And you get a basically free, first attempt at saving you thousand of dollars. An
